Group Training National Register Help
Searching the National Register
The National
Register search facility is located at the top of each page of this
website. To use the keyword search facility type a specific keyword in the
search field and click the ‘go’ button. To narrow your search to a
specific state or territory select a State or Territory from the pull down
box under the keyword search field.
The search facility searches the following fields of
the GTO National Register database.
- GTO Name
- GTO Suburb and City
- Industry
This search will list all GTOs
in order of relevance that are recognised as compliant against the
National Standards for GTOs in the relevant State or Territory. To view

Terminology Used
Name and State : The
name of the GTO is the trading name of the GTO. In conjunction with the
GTO name, the State or Territory which they have been recognised as
compliant with the National Standards is normally shown in brackets after
the name. For example ‘ABC Training (VIC)’. This is shown because some
GTOs operate in more than one State or Territory.
Suburb : This describes the
suburb in which the GTO resides in a particular State or Territory. This
does not indicate in which area the GTO provides services as this is shown
in the Region field.
Industry : This describes the Industry sectors within
which a GTO employs apprentices or trainees . GTOs can have multiple
industry selections or indicate ‘All Industries’. For further details
about industry classifications, including occupations and courses
available within each industry sector, see the MyFuture website.
Contact Details : This
provides the contact information for the GTO in a particular State or
Territory including their email and web site addresses.
Registration Details : This
provides the information for when the GTO was initially audited against
the National Standards for GTOs, the period which the GTO is considered to
be compliant for the specific State or Territory. It also provides
information on who can be contacted within the State or Territory training
authority regarding the GTOs compliance.
Region : This describes the region in which the GTO
provides services. It can be ‘Metro’, ‘Regional’ or all areas.
